Traditional client/server:
Traditional Smart Maintenance, also called "client-server" is installed on your PC. You run the software on your company network. No internet access is needed. This is better for operations with only one or a small number of facilities where enterprise/corporate control is not needed.
You can download our trial version by selecting the first option. "I would like to download a free trial of the traditional, client-server solution that is installed on my PC."
You can also have it mailed to you by selecting the second option of "I would like you to mail a free trial of the traditional, client-server solution that is installed on my PC."
Internet based:
Internate-based Smart Maintenance Anywhere is run from your browser. No software is installed on your PC, you only need internet acess and Internet Exporer. This version is better for operations with more than one facility where better corporate control is needed.
You can try Smart Maintenance Anywhere by chosing the third option of "I would like to look at the web-based version called Smart Maintenance Anywhere. This is a fully web-based, subscription service which is different from our client-server product. It is typically best suited for multiple facility scenarios."
