Smart Maintenance solutions come in 2 flavors: traditional PC based (often called client/server) and internet based that runs inside your browser. Both have significant pros and cons. Typically internet based systems allow for better “enterprise” operations for organizations that are spread all over the place. The internet makes for a great infrastructure to keep you organized and connected. Traditional software is faster and typically somewhat more flexible. In either case Smart Maintenance can satisfy your needs. Feel free to examine both of our solutions.
If you can answer yes to any/most of the questions, our traditional Smart Maintenance software is best for you:
- I only need access at my facility.
- Installations of the software and database is on my local server – this is usually faster than going thru the internet. Speed is more important to me then the flexibility of having access to the software anywhere there is internet access
- I require a highly flexible CMMS system.
- I am required to have my data on my own server and do not have adequate resources to host an “internet-based” system.

- I have facilities in many different locations – the internet is the best way for me to be connected to them.
- I have employees all over the world - I need employees and contractors to be able to connect from other places.
